First day in Athens: Filled with expectations we went to the new venue of Platforms project. It appeared to be a former Cutural Centre, a modernist building which had won a architectural prize and which haused all kinds of different spaces. There was an outside space next to the cafetaria in the building which would later appear to be a nice spot to get some air and to meet people. EX-MÊKH started to install their work immediately in a space that was rather difficult. However, Maarten Schepers made a model beforehand and Ellen Rodenberg installed her work in a way that gloriously overcame the problems at hand and manipulated the public into an active attitude towards the work.

EX-MÊKH also participates in a prsentation of the Greek platform The Lo and Behold with this piece, a collaboration of Maarten Schepers, Ellen Rodenberg and Kees Koomen

During the fair a conference would be held in this space, real underground. It appeared to be very effective during the two days that it lasted.

Second night in Athens already gave us presents

Unnoticed Art from Dordrecht , represented by Frans van Lent en Malou van Dormaal, joined us for dinner in the Plaka.
